This is one of those items that is so incredibly useful, yet few of us realize how much we need it until we receive one. My husband and I have always used paper towels to cover our plates and bowls in the microwave, with the usual results: cheese and other toppings stick to the paper towel, or the paper towel falls or caves in, resulting in splatter all over the microwave.
