I just read Lovely Model T Widow's review and I completely agree with her review.
I received this pan for Christmas as a gift and just used it for the first time today. I used a boxed cake mix and didn't really know how long it would take to bake the cake. I think it was close to 40 minutes for the toothpick to come out clean. Also, the label says to NOT fill the pan more than 3/4 full. I probably filled it 7/8 full and I had to cut the "muffin top" off the halves to have an even surface to put the Big Cupcake together.
When I went to frost the top, the cupcake became unstable and just as I was finishing the frosting, the cupcake tipped over. I guess I was too heavy with the frosting and will be more conservative the next time I use this pan.
Cute cake, though.
